New research on deer populations and garlic mustard invasion

A new blog post about new research on deer populations and garlic mustard invasion.

An earlier article indicated that high populations promote non-native species.  Now, additional research has been published that strengthens that relationship.  A recent article in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences demonstrates a close relationship between deer populations and invasion by garlic mustard.  The authors go on to say that the success of garlic mustard invasion is reliant upon high deer populations.
